As part of social responsibility activities, a three-month course on studying the Quran for women was organized at the Satuq Bughra Khan Mosque from February 4, 2025 to April 30, 2025. This significant program, which was launched within the mosque, was implemented with the aim of strengthening the religious knowledge of women and female university students in the region and helping them to study the Quran correctly.
The course, which attracted the attention of many, was conducted by teachers of the Faculty of Theology under the guidance of Khaitmirza Sotvoldiyev and Mirgul Bekmurzayeva under the guidance of master's student Beyza Demir and undergraduate students of the Faculty of Theology on reading the Quran, rules of tajweed, basic religious information and worship. The classes were attended by women and girls of all ages, they were held on Tuesdays and Thursdays of the week.
At the closing ceremony of the course, Adviser to the Rector of KTMU, Prof., Doctor Kemal Polat and Assoc. Prof. Professor, PhD, Head of the Department of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Theology. Dr. Nail Karagöz took the floor and noted that they attach great importance to improving the religious education of women, who are the backbone of society, and that this course will contribute to both the spiritual development and solidarity of our women. They also noted that such courses are of great importance for the future of future generations.
The participants noted that this course was of great educational and moral importance to them and would like to see such events held in the future. At the end of the program, certificates were presented to the women and girls who participated in the course.
