As the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, our students gain opportunities to work and intern across a wide spectrum of energy- and communication-focused fields. On the energy side, they develop projects in renewable-energy systems, smart grids, power-electronics converters, electric-vehicle drive systems, energy-storage solutions, and micro-grid automation—acquiring hands-on experience at leading distribution utilities, generation plants, and R & D centers. On the communications side, they engage with 5G/6G mobile-network architectures, IoT-based sensor networks, satellite and radar communications, fiber-optic transmission, wireless RF circuit design, and cyber-physical system security, reinforcing their theoretical knowledge through internships with national operators, defense-industry organizations, and telecommunications R & D laboratories. In this way, our graduates enter the industry equipped with the up-to-date engineering competencies demanded by the energy and communications ecosystem.
